The story

Set in Vienna in the late 19th century, Die Fledermaus is the light-hearted tale of the revenge of Dr Falke on Gabriel von Eisenstein for playing a practical joke on him when they were students. Die Fledermaus (the bat – which was at the centre of the practical joke) provides the audience with some of Strauss' most captivating melodies.

A tale of confusion, flirtation, mistaken identities and comedy moments, with excellent music, wonderful waltzes and glorious costumes and staging. This production guarantees a great evening's
