What The Papers Said

"That charming musical comedy "The Marriage Market", which the company is presenting this week at the Lyceum Theatre will prove as popular as its predecessors, the entire cast rose to the occasion last night, and both in the comedy and musical element the play went with a smoothness which evoked a hearty appreciation from a large audience.  Both in the chorus singing, which was remarkably  good, and in the work of the principals, the entire performance reached the high artistic level which is associated with the Southern Light Opera Company"
